It’s that time of the year again when my Princesses get to decorate their own tree according to their liking. I don’t do any advice or nagging at them when they do it, I just let them be and let them enjoy doing it. It is a yearly tradition here in our household, with this, they shall carry the tradition and pass on to their future children.
They’ve done quite a job because I put the tree upstairs and the ornaments were down here in the living room, so by doing that, they must have had enough exercise going back and forth to get the tree done yesterday. Good girls for they did not stop until they thought it was done and did not even ask help from me.
Our Princess M, who is soon to be 6 years old graduated kindergarten today. Proud mommy I am because she has done an excellent job in school this school year, 2016-2017. Proof are the certificates she garnered today!
Good thing I am no longer working and was able to dress her up with one of her favorite dresses, the red Kids Bowknot Beads Ruffles Lace Princess Party Wedding Dress shown in the picture below. Looking gorgeous is of utmost importance to her so I must do my best dressing her like a Princess. Someday she will remember mommy as the one who bought her beautiful dresses.
I am just beyond proud right now knowing how my little girl loved school and she showed it through her certificates. I wish her well in first grade and that she will continue to excel in school next year. I love Bey Meg Meg so much!
And below are the awards she garnered…
High Frequency Word Reading- over 100 words, Excellence in Creativity, Accelerated Reader, Model Citizenship, Creativity and Neatness in Writing, Mastery of Kindergarten Sight Words are her awards end of school year 2016-2017!
It’s a late upload. Mother’s Day this year fell on May 14,2017. We celebrated by going out to have a dinner at a bbq restaurant in downtown Fort Worth with my co-worker, her son and my two Princesses.
Anyway, Mother’s Day is a special day here in America and children/grandchildren made sure they appreciated their mothers/grandmothers effort to raise them. It’s a day dedicated for mothers to show how important they are in their children’s life.
My princesses did not miss this day. I felt special because they know what’s that day was all about.
Here’s a craft from my firstborn she created in school. I thought it was cool, she really made an effort coloring these print out flowers and handed it to me when I got home from work that day.
Another thing that my second princess did was to fill in the blanks her teacher gave her and had Mrs. Brown re-wrote it for her.
Megan guess my age though and made me 12 years older. She knows me well for I love purses a lot!
The most anticipated day of the year around the world is Christmas Day, it is celebrated because of the birth of the son of God, Jesus. Undeniably, Christmas is often associated with gift-giving to the ones that matter to us most, our family, friends, could it be strangers, co-workers and just random people who you feel like donating stuff to.
Here’s what usually happens in our household each Christmas and praying it will continue to be like this until our children have their own. Me and my husband try to be present on this day to see the joyful expressions our Princesses make when they open the gifts they wished for.
Pictures of them and how surprised, happy and glad of what they got. According to Princess 1 said that she got more than ten presents this year. Not bad huh, I think. On her wishlist she listed like 26!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO THOSE WHO DROP BY AND READ THIS BLOG TODAY!
A night to remember wherein both adults and kids had fun, this can only happen once a year when Christmas is approaching. An Ugly Sweater Christmas Party 2016 took place in Island Spa Retreat hosted by a Filipina who invited Santa and Mrs. Santa. It was fun and I felt the Spirit of Christmas when Mrs. Santa started strumming her guitar and sung Christmas songs.
We had ample time to take as many pictures as we can with Mr. and Mrs. Claus that night, children got to sit on his lap and tell him their wishes, they had time to hurl questions and answers. We also had a few games which my second born won a cookie as her prize for winning the statue dance. Aside from that, the highlight of the night is a book-reading with Santa.
All the children and adults listened attentively, we were all quiet but busy taking pictures! It was a blast party. It was our second party at the same place already, looking forward for more fun Christmas parties in the coming years with Santa.
Very late upload, I apologize for it. I have been lazy updating my blogs and besides, I have been busy attending parties, doing my motherly obligations, running a house and assisting our neighbor. Anyway, here are a few wonderful pictures of our Princesses on Christmas Day.
Like what we usually do on Jesus’ birthday, we all stay at home, even the dada made an effort to be with his family rather than go out working even if it means giving up his double pay in the past Christmases. Christmas morning, as soon as our children wake up, or whoever wakes up first would wait for the whole family to be up before the most-anticipated opening of gifts could take place. And here they are, the amazing and priceless facial expressions when they opened a present they really like ecstatic every time they like what they see… it is something I cannot forget and will treasure for the rest of our lives.
Although we did not give them everything in their wishlist but they are happy what they opened on Christmas day. There are a few more toys and lots of clothing but not included in the picture. I hope they realize that they are blessed and that they will learn to be happy and satisfied of what Santa gave them.
Princess M got a microphone disco ball because she likes to sing.
and a pink tablet from dada…
and she received a Holiday doll from tita Claire, Kaegan’s mommy in Midland, TX
big Princess got a new purple tablet too, it is a replacement of the broken one she had in the past. Dada completed it with a purple carrying case and a typepad and a protective case.
she also got an inline skates
We have this 4 feet artificial Christmas tree for nine years now and I passed it on to our girls so they can have their own tree to decorate. Since they are now a bit bigger and can enjoy hanging ornaments up to it, I let them decorate their tree however they want it.
It’s the second year they are doing it and I would like to make it a tradition for them to do and grow up thinking it is the right thing to do when Christmas is approaching. As you can see in the photo below, they are busy and are trying their best beautifying their tree.
By letting them do it, it gives them a sense of accomplishment and that they are responsible and part of the family. That they too are needed and essential in this house. I even let the big sister to put up the tree top which is a blue Angel.
Here are three photos of the trick or treaters last night on their Cinderella and witch costumes. We make it a yearly tradition during Halloween, to go out in the neighborhood or wherever it is that offers fun, excitement and offer lots of candies!
Unfortunately, we don’t have pictures of the EV cityhall Halloween carnival this year because it was cancelled due to bad weather the other night. Anyway, mother nature allowed us to go out there and walk around the neighborhood for free candies and for us to be able to see some nice Halloween decorations around here.
I appreciate those homeowners really took the time and effort to decorate outside their house to make it look and make it feel like Halloween. The girls had fun and so was I. Not only, I got to enjoy the decorations but I had my walking exercise as well. How about that?
There’s nothing better than receiving this FREE beautiful Movie-Inspired Cinderella costume from costume discounters website in exchange of my honest opinion.
Firstly, Princess M feels like she is a princess and for that, when I told her a couple of weeks ago that I ordered a Cinderella costume just for her, she got really excited and happy. I can only imagine the child’s feelings when she found that out and couldn’t wait for it to arrive and try it on but I tried to stop her because I know for sure once she takes it out of the package, she wouldn’t want to take it off.
So, my review for this dress took so long for I have waited for Halloween trick or treat night to take pictures of her. Here’s one of those that I really like with a great pose with the dress about to go start trick or treating in the neighborhood last night.
My Princess M really adored the sparkling dress. It came with a petticoat that makes the dress to look full! It is of great quality and it really sparkles making her feel gorgeous last night for the Halloween. Thank you Costume Discounters for this awesome dress you sent to our Princess.

Here’s our photos on Valentine’s Day. Unlike other families or couples, they ate out, we didn’t. Instead, we brought our two Princesses to Lowe’s last Saturday for “Build and Grow” Activity. They handed out 2 Valentine picture holder kits and we, the parents, assisted our girls to make it into a beautiful picture hold shown in one of the snaps below.
Our Valentine’s day started with a big hug from my husband with a greeting. I and the girls then gave him a personalized card and two Hershey’s chocolate. When we headed to Lowe’s he gave me his Valentine’s card. Very simple celebration yet I am grateful for we are all together and I have my family near me on that very special occasion of the year. I am thankful for them.
